Hi All, We are exporting data to MVS dataset using BTEQ Export and then the file is transferred to the Unix System. When processing the file in the Unix System, the Clients have encountered problems with Umlaut characters. One column in a table has umlaut characters. So, before exporting the data, we need to identify the rows with umlauts and replace the value with in that field with NULL or BLANK. Is there any way in Teradata by which those characters can be identified? eg : umlaut characters (words like Schr?der, D?ssel etc). Please let us know if there is a way to identify such rows. Thanks in Advance, Naveen.
