I'm trying to load queries(extracted from production), into QCD's in development, test and production environments.

Most of the queries can be loaded in all 3 areas, with no problems. I'm having difficulty with a few, that are very large (6-7 pages in MS Word), in that I get a syntax error when trying to "insert explain" to the QCD, from either VE or SQL Assistance.

There is no problem running the queries, as a query or as an explain, in each environment. I have set the "limit sql=" to a number from 10,000 to 1,000,000 with same error results.

We are running on V2R5 with version 3.2 of VE. All of this activity, is in preparation to upgrade to V2R6 this summer, and we want to baseline our system.

Has anyone else encountered this scenario, and what action did you take, to get a work-around?

Any help would be appreciated.
