Hello Gurus,
Im a new addition to the teradata developer team and from Oracle Background. I find it very intriguing sometimes to see people using tens of
temporary tables to transform data by way of select-inserts rather than use a stored procedure to accomplish the same. Is there any reason behind
this? Do the cursor based row by row processing in SPs fail to leverage teradata parallellism effectively? Or can there be any other reason behind
this?
