Thanks for the confirmation. It should reconcile me with Michael and reconcile me with my own recollection of V2R4, where I thought I did not
see this limitation with BEFORE triggers.
I have to correct my previous posting: the manual I quoted was, of course, the SQL DDL Ref, not the DML Ref.
