Hello, For the SET table the duplicates are "silently ignored". Where as for the MULTISET table the insert fails. This behaviour is documented in the manuals, and it is for Teradata mode only. PS: In my opinion, it is a contradiction in terms to have a MULTISET table with a unique index. But it's allowed, and I guess some find it useful because of the behaviour you have observed. Best Regards, Ole Dunweber
