Hi ,

I have installed Demo version of TD on my local machine and made an entry in the host file as below

     127.0.0.1       Demo   DemoTDATcop1

Now When I try to run the BTEQ statement .logon Demo/dbc , i am getting the following error

     *** CLI error: MTDP: EM_NOHOST(224): name not in HOSTS file or names database.
     *** Return code from CLI is: 224
     *** Error: Logon failed!
     *** Total elapsed time was 1 second.
     Teradata BTEQ 08.02.00.00 for WIN32. Enter your logon or BTEQ command:

How to overcome this error? I changed demo to localhost and tried .logon dbc but no success.
