Someone knows if the application phase in the import task is faster than delete task?

The problem is: If I want delete rows from a table by date ( Ie: delete from table1 where table1.date< 1050601) is better do a fexp of PI columns and then a MLOAD import, or directly a MLOAD delete task gain time for the absence of aquisition phase?
