Yes, the wording in the explanation of DML "MARK DUPLICATE" is rather confusing. The important idea is that if the target is a MULTISET table, then entirely duplicate rows are not errors and therefore will never be MARKed (logged in the error table). The warning about very old versions of Teradata on Windows NT (TNT) probably should be removed.
