6 min instead of 18 is already not too bad after posting a question on the Forum. The question was well documented so it was not too hard to
suggest easy improvements (nice to know that some of them have paid off) but the fine tuning might be too site specific to discuss it further on
the forum. If you need help with this, your company may consider hiring a consultant specializing in this type of Teradata support. Nothing wrong
with using external help from time to time. John, the Forum owner, runs a dedicated sublist on which you can post a job.
I think it makes sense to separate activities of this kind because interfering too much into the specifics of the unknown site, even with the
best intentions, can potentially cause new problems instead of curing the existing ones.
