I could be wrong, but I don't know of any reason why you would need to do this, nor do I remember ever having to do it. To my knowledge, there
is nothing AMP-specific that is stored when stats are taken, only a histogram storing the values for each 1% range.
Are you doing a software upgrade at the same time, or just a hardware upgrade? I could see it if you were also doing a major software upgrade,
but not if you're just upgrading hardware.
