On my system, the API (or TeradataPX) stage uses ANSI transaction mode. There doesn't seem to be a way to override this in the stage itself,
although there might be via an environment variable or installation option. Otherwise, I don't see anything unusual about the API; it's running
ordinary DBC/SQL.
