The TDPID will be in the HOSTS file with the following syntax:

     IP ADDRESS    HOSTNAMECOP#
     20.230.22.54  EDWPRODCOP1

The TDPID for the above example is EDWPROD

If you are trying to access Teradata from your own workstation you can set up your HOSTS file to assign your own TDPID

On a Windows system the HOSTS file is located under:

     C:\Windows\system32\drivers\etc
