All,

Is there an alternate way to convert from NULL data to Spaces. I need to update over 100 columns from NULL values to Space. I am thinking there might be an easier way instead of writing 100 updates.

Also most of the columns have compression in them, do I need to alter all tables to include space in the compression?

Our users are doing lot of multi column comparisons and NULL are a problem.
