This name must end in ".txt". The error message that you got was: Cannot create table "c:\myoutfile.txt" because: Type is invalid. This makes it appear that you entered "c:\myoutfile.txt" for the "table" name instead of "myoutfile.txt". You should only enter the filename part of the pathname (for example, "myoutfile.txt") as the "table" name. The folder part of the pathname (for example, "c:\") should be entered into the "Data Source" property when establishing the connection to the Jet provider. Hoping that it helps you out!
