While loading data into Teradata DB using Mload there is significant performance difference. The load to the Test servers is faster than the Dev server. The file server and the Teradata servers are collocated on the network.

Can you please explain why this would be the case?

What factors affect Mload performance?

Does Mload use ODBC or oledb connection?

Do settings on the Teradata server affect Mload performance?
