Yes, I know. The Current list of PERS is not Online, but I suspect that is because it is a Double Edge Sword...

If we would allow people to see what other people are asking for, it basically shows the world what features we are lacking.

Now on the other hand I guess you can sit and monitor newsgroups like this one and surmise missing features based upon comments from real customers.

Anyway, If you take the time to submit a request you will get a follow up and be told whether it is a duplicate, has been accepted or rejected.

Maybe your suggestion has already been implemented and no one told you.

Also if multiple people submit a PER for the same feature even though it is a duplicate it raises the Duplicate PER to the attention of the committee and they can choose to Rank it Higher on their list of Desired features if they find out there are other customers out there who now desire that feature.

Also maybe 2 people are requesting the same enhancement and present it in a slightly different way giving the committee and development an opportunity to better understand the request.
