OK A-Team What gives??? I have some complex queries that are doing some wild things that take advantage of the "USER" keyword for security purposes. Some of my views have a fair amount of view/table dependencies so when I do a "SHOW [SELECT *...]" it comes back with all of the "Create and Replace" DDL. So far this is good... One of the Create statements that are returned is: "CREATE INDEX (TVMName) ON DBC.TVM;" This is certainly not part of any of my views or the SQL submitted. So I in turn must ask... What gives? Why is an INDEX on TVMName being created? It this expected? There is already a secondary index on DBC.TVM so the create statement should fail anyway... Shed some light on this most troublesome issue so I can sleep at night. Chris Coffing
