Hi, I recently had to replicate one of our database to Development from production. Our production server is on V2R5 and our Development server is on V2R5.1. All the objects including tables, Macros, Views and the data contained with in are the exact replica. However I am facing one problem while executing a macro. I have a macro in which dates are passed as parameter. Now in production when I pass the parameter like EXECUTE PORTFOLIO('2005-07-15','2005- 03-15') it works fine but when I run the same command in development it fails with an Error(Character string failed Numeric Conversion). When I changed the date format as EXECUTE PORTFOLIO('07/15/2005','03/15/2005') the macro ran fine in development. Can someone help me understand why this is happening? I would like to reiterate that the development database objects are exact replica of the objects on production. Thanks and Regards _____________________________
