Hi, I suspect that this is because you are using the SQL Assistant option to "stop after any error". Does Atansoft have the same option ? I think what you'll find is happening is that the DBMS is rolling back the effects of the macro, but then it's down to the application to handle the error code. SQL Assistant (and presumably Atanasoft) is stopping processing at that point, but BTEQ is carrying on, because you haven't told it to do anything else.
