Thanks, Victor. I did a general search on the NCR Knowledge Repository and it had one hit, and basically it just said to reinstall the software. So gonna try that. Trying to interpret the error messages sometimes and the messages in the Messages manual sometimes are pretty useless in determining the problem. So gonna try that. Thanks, BillG
