I see a problem with the following software: MS-ACCESS 2003 ODBC 3.04.00.00 + session character set: ASCII and others Error: Reserved error (-7722); there is no message for this error However, with ODBC 3.04.00.02, I was able to link Teradata tables using the multibyte session character sets such as ASCII and LATIN1252. However, I see problems with UTF8/UTF16 session. a) ASCII and LATIN1252 --- works fine b) UTF8 session --- works fine with 7-bit ASCII characters, but not 8-bit characters c) UTF16 session --- Error: Reserved error (-7748); there is no message for this error To me, it looks like MS Access does not like the Unicode ODBC driver (i.e. 3.4) as well as the Unicode session character set.
