Hi Prabhu,
"Stopping and Restarting the System" chapter in the 'Teradata Database Administration' manual (Ch-9 in v2r51 manual) lists the commands to be
used on Unix and Windows.
But, note that using these commands without complete knowledge or guidance from NCR Support Personnel can lead to unwanted results on the
system.
