Subj:   Access module and Notify exit.

I have a MultiLoad that uses an access module and a Notify exit. If I get an error on the access module, I set the return code in the access module to pmrcFailure. This terminates the access module and MultiLoad immediately, but does not invoke the pmiPIDMOptShut event to allow the access module to clean-up. The Notify exit routine is also not invoked so that it too can exit cleanly.

My question is how can I recover from errors encountered in the access module cleanly? Most importantly, I would like the Notify Exit to be invoked on access module error.

The documentation for the pmiPIDMOptGetA_A, and pmiPIDMOptPutA_A functions of the access module is not too clear. Does anyone know of a situation where it may be used?

Thanks.
