Hi, I use MLOAD to populate a table from a file which contains umlats/umlauts. While loading into the table the case of the umlaut character gets changed. I need to prevent this from happening. For e.g. If the name in the file is: Martin M=FCtzelburg, in the table it is Martin M=DCtzelburg. - This is not a column characterset specification problem Because If I load the name into a table using the Queryman import option then the name is correctly loaded as M=FCtzelburg. It almost seems like the mload converts uppercase to lowercase and lowercase to uppercase for the umlats alone. I tried loading a name: Martin M=FC=FC=DCtzelburg and that got loaded as Martin M=DC=DC=FCtzelburg. There are no functions used in mload code for this colulmn. Thanks and regards, Rajani
