Subj:   Monitoring mload progress in application phase

How do I monitor mload progress in application phase.

I am running an mload script with 32 sessions for over 10 hours now. The mload is in application phase for all this time. I am wondering, if I need to decrease the number of sessions. I am updating a table of 7 million records with a file of 4 million records.

I read some where that mload will try to log into all the sessions before doing any application phase. So it might have been stuck in trying to log into all sessions. How do I monitor this?

Also, I saw a new error message in the mload run:

UTY0805 RDBMS failure, 8018: The session id is illegal.

     **** 11:03:05 UTY1804 Re-starting this MultiLoad task because a retryable error occurred.

I can not even abort the mload because I can see some of the changes in the table by accessing it via access lock. This error occurred when I aborted the mload and restarted with 15 sessions.

This script is created by informatica, but now I am running outside informatica.

Thanks for the help,
