<-- Anonymously Posted: Monday, May 23, 2005 10:18 --> Do anyone know what the corresponding directory names / locations for the Windows version of the ODBC installation are compared to the below UNIX version?? Is there an SDK that comes with the Windows version of ODBC installation similar to the UNIX version?? All I find in the documentation (both in 3.3. and 3.4 versions) is only just for UNIX. I am trying to locate the ODBC SDK after we installed the recent TTU 8.0 for ODBC 3.4. The directory under the C:\Program files\NCR\ODBC Driver for Teradata\ still contains 3.3 exe with no SDK subdirectories. However the 3.4.0.0 version dll is copied to C:\winnt\system32\ directory. Has the installation behavior changed from the previous version?? Thanks for your help From the Connectivity documentation of 3.4 / 3.3 versions of ODBC After installation, the following directories can be found under the ODBC root directory. If not specified during the installation, the default directory is:
/usr/odbc
Table 5: ODBC Directories
Directory Contents
include/ ==> ODBC include files
lib/ ODBC ==> Driver Manager and other shared libraries
drivers/ libraries ==> for the ODBC Driver for Teradata
messages/ ==> error message files
samples/ ==> sample C and C++ applications
/usr/lib/ ==> odbc message catalog file
