What is the data type of the column you are storing it in? I inserted '=E2=E4=E0=E5=E7=EA=EB=E8' into a column defined as CHAR(10) CHARACTER SET LATIN and was able to retreive it with no problem. I inserted it via SQL Assistant 7.0 however - not a mainframe - but that should not matter. I retreived it via both SQL Assistant 7.0 and Teradata Administrator 7.0 into an answer set which used the Ariel font. (Wasnt sure which app you meant by 'SQL Admin') Mike Dempsey
