This is a topic that comes up from time to time in one guise or another, usually framed around the amount of space used by one or more of the
system tables (such as those related to access logging, resusage, etc.) used to log various types of information. If this is potentially an issue
for your system then you should consider archiving (i.e copying and purging) the access log data from the system table to a suitably defined copy
of the table you have created on some sort of periodic (perhaps daily) basis. This practice keeps the amount of data in the system table at any
given point in time small/manageable where the issue you raise should not be a concern. At the same time, you have a historical database of the
information you can analyze/access without potentially competing with any associated system logging processes...
