An alternative would be to simply issue a

     Select trim(tablename) from dbc.tables where....

with Export mode switched on.

Then issue the query

     Show Table ?

with Import mode switched on. (Using the Export file from step 1 as the Import file to step 2. After removing the first line of the file [the column header])
