Subj:   Re: Fetch Time from DBQL

From:   Ballinger, Carrie

This email from me back in early April is not correct, so I wanted to fix it.

Although the original idea behind having a LastRespTime column in the DBQLogTbl was to reflect the time the last response packet was sent, that is not done at this time. DBQL lives and records its information from within the dispatcher. In the case of response processing, all responses after the first packet are handled by the BYNET, and DBQL does not currently have visibility into what time the final packet was sent.

Sorry for any confusion. - Carrie

You should be able to subtract firstresptime from lastresptime if what you mean by fetch time is the time it took to return the answer set.

firstresptime -- Timestamp when the first response packet was sent to the host.

Lastresptime -- Timestamp when the last response packet was sent to the host.

Thanks, -Carrie
