If I had a Teradata system with four nodes that can be connected to and COP entries in my host file looked as following

     [IP address of NODE1]     NODENAMEcop1
     [IP address of NODE2]     NODENAMEcop2
     [IP address of NODE3]     NODENAMEcop3
     [IP address of NODE4]     NODENAMEcop4

How long can the NODENAME part be?
