Teradata does support both data and logon encryption, Teradata JDBC driver 3.1.0.x has support for logon encryption and Teradata JDBC driver 3.2 has support for both logon and data encryption. Following parameters can be passed to the URL for enabling data and logon encryption 1.LOGMECH (TD1,TD2,NTLM,LDAP,KERBEROS Mechanisms are supported) 2.LOGDATA used for passing additional data with logon mechanism option 3.ENCRYPT ON/OFF used for data encryption I hope this helps
