Yesterday I received the following message when connecting to NODE 1 : 10065 WSA E HostUnreach: The Teradata server can't currently be reached over the network. I only received this message from NODE 1; the other 3 NODES were fine so I don't believe it was a network problem. I also had a 50 session TPump job that took 30 seconds to create the sessions last week and 8 minutes yesterday. Since Tpump starts the sessions directly between NODES, I don't see how it could be a network problem. When reviewing the files under /var/adm/sa, there are sa files for 3/22 (sa22) and 3/24 (sa24), but none for yesterday. I did a system restart (including the UNIX os) this AM and the system again appears normal. Has anyone experienced this problem? Any thoughts on logs or files to review for clues? Bill H
