The column in the UPDATE WHERE clause is the UPI. No record is being updated more than once. There are 12 NUSI's but they are not being
updated, so why would those tables be effected? There is no RI.
There is heavy activity on Teradata but not the database or table I'm updating. Dropping all the NUSI's had little effect on update time.
Below is part of the job output, note high avg DBS wait at checkpoints, what if anything does this indicate?
Bottom line, I'm pretty underwhelmed by TPUMP; I thought it would much faster doing row level updates using a UPI input dataset.
