 Christopher, We tried the below solution, but nothing happens.  We modified the startup script for the X-Term session to: 
     /usr/bin/X11/xterm -sb -display :@#
 This produced a scroll bar on the left that is cumbersome to use.  The session has Edit/Copy/Paste options from a right click on the
header bar, but none of it works. Does NCR Unix have a dtterm solution?  That works the best in Solaris and HPUX when given a choice between X and dtterm.
