A-Team

I have been asked by the "UPPERS" to get some "real-world" information on the resources required to Design, Develop and Support an EDW.

We are continuing to grow and like most successful warehousing projects, we will double in size by next year. This means more resources and that means more justifications and campaigning for such resources.

Here is what I need from you.

Number of Nodes:
Amount of Usable Space:
Number of Support DBAs:
Number of Dev DBAs:
Number of Support ETL:
Number of Dev ETL:
Number of Support BI:
Number of HelpDesk Resources:

Any other pertinent information to justify these resources:

Feel free to include who and why your environment is successful. Brag! Brag! Brag!

Is anyone using RAID-5 instead of RAID-1??? This is a hot topic to save on diskspace. Hmmmm...
