I get exactly the same. I assumed SQL Assistant was being a little too clever about keeping the various text properties when it's pasted in. Things I've learnt are; If you are pasting from an email, open it and copy the text rather than just copying from Outlook's preview pane. If you are really paranoid (as I often am) then paste into notepad (which doesn't give a hoot about protection, font etc) then immediately copy again and paste into SQL Assistant. Never drive too closely behind old men in flat caps. You never know what they are going to do. Cheers, Stuart
