Subj:   Re: Is Real-Time Data Loading Real?

From:   David Wellman

Chris,

How 'real-time' is 'real-time' ? seconds, minutes ?

I know of one site who load in 'real-time' but it may be 1-2 hours (the data latency) from the transaction in the store until the data is in the warehouse. But this is acceptable to their business.

I know of another site that has a data latency of sub-second.

What is the proposed method of getting data from MQ Series into "the Big T"?

Cheers,

Dave
