| No. That was a brain blip. I tested the algorithm in Perl first; then, when converting to SQL, I forgot that I could just subtract the

Thanks for the confirmation. The algorithm can be useful for customers who wish to be really precise about their timestamps. Things like leap
seconds, summer/winter time, etc, can be included in your formula easier than with the standard calculation. Thanks for posting it.
