I am tring to define a linked server on the MS SQL Server that connects to the Teradata using OLEDB . I downloaded the software and got it installed. During the linked server configuration, I am asked to provide Product Name, Data Source and Provide String for the connection. There is barely any explanation on exactly what each of these should be, does any one know what values and what format each of these values should be?
