1. What is the duration of each exam ?

Long enough so that you can even revise well after completing all the questions, if you are prepared enough. Something like 2 Hrs for 60 questions.

2. Will it have only multiple choice questions or other types (fill in the blanks, descriptive, etc..)

All the type of questions given in the sample test. No descriptive.

3. How many total such questions would be there for each exam ?

Different for different levels. Eg for PI it was 60 questions. Basically it can go even upto 100 questions per paper.

4. Whether the question pattern differs depending on the exam we choose to take up ?

Pattern should be same, however the contents will differ for each exam, which is very obvious, but nothing could be guaranteed until you appear in the examination ;).
