Hey Craig I use Teradata Manager and Remote Console to run the show locks utility. This will bring up any host utility locks and also inform you of the session and the user... You can then use straight SQL to do a release lock... In SQL Assistant: Release Lock database.table, override; This will release the locks on all the amps for the table. I have not found a way to discover locks via SQL at this time... This appears to be a utility thing... Chris Coffing
