I do understand why & what is a two-AMP step, why & what a nested join is. The confusion is w.r.t the following : "two-AMP JOIN step " - what is this . I understand "two-AMP Retrieve step" which can be seen if an equality condition is placed on a USI, but two-AMP JOIN step ? - so what is that we are trying to join, with the two amps in picture and how does it take place.

W.r.t the above does the "nested join" apply to same context(i.e., is he talking about the same two-AMP JOIN) or is there a nested join performed after the two-AMP JOIN.
