Subj:   Re: Deleting Resource Partitions

From:   Thomas F. Stanek

Eduardo,

What version are you on?

In V2R4, there is no way to delete a Resource Partition. Once it is defined, it will always exist. However, as long as there is no work assigned to a performance group for that Resource Partition, it plays no part in the Priority Scheduler process. That is true for V2R4 as well as V2R5.

I believe in V2R5 (perhaps 5.1), there is a capability to delete a partition as long as the partition is not active. Carrie, can you confirm that?

Hope this helps.
