Hi,

Does anyone use Business Objects as front end OLAP solutions which run over teradata?

How about the performance of your application?

In our process of implementing a warehouse on teradata V2R5, refreshing a report in BO usually takes about 15 minutes or even more, I think it's too slowly. The requirments of our clent is to get reports within sevral seconds.

I'm now in search of methods to improve performance.(unfortunately we have no NCR expert participating ourproject). What I could think to is to add indexes. We use star schema in data mart. In one example I chose to test, I tried to create aggreagate join index , but find that ran over 1 hour and still not finished, so I gave up the idea. I still have no good idea except read NCR references for help. I would greatly appreciate any feedback from those of you who have worked with Business Objects.I am especially intereseted in your feedback regarding measures you used to get good performance.
