By "spool space problem" I'm assuming that you're running out of spool space. If not then please include the error message number. Assuming that you're running out of spool space... What is the size of the table and what is the maxspool value for your userid? For size of table use "sum(currentperm)" in dbc.tablesize, don't forget to remove any space for secondary indexes. Also remember that if the table in question is compressed then the spool space will typically be larger than the value given by "sum(currentperm)". Finally, is your table distributed evenly across the amps. If not then this could give you an out of spool space error. Cheers, Dave
