The Select statement shown in this thread (and used by WinDDI/Teradata Administrator) will find all DIRECT references to the object. The comments in an earlier email are incorrect. Even if you do not qualify the view/macro when you create it, the CreateText column will contain the qualified name, with each part of the name enclosed by double quotes. This means that it will also find references which are followed by a comma (the other case stated as a failure) since the comma appears AFTER the double quote. The only references it will NOT find are indirect references: View A uses View B which uses Table C In this case references for Table C will show View B but not View A. Mike Dempsey
