I guess you need to place individual .COMPILE statement on different lines in your script as : Suppose your Script was "xyz" with the following contents .compile file = proc1.spl and from the bteq prompt you would say .run file = xyz for the script xyz to run and all the procedures defined each in proc1.spl,proc2.spl,proc3.spl to get compiled. However, if there are problems in the compilation of any of the procedure, then each individual .compile statement would point this out, during compilation. Narayan.
