Subj: | | DISSTART.EXE |
|

Hi:
We have Teradata v2r5.00.28 running on WIn2K SP3. What happens that after some applications connect, and run queries cpu shoots up to
100%. There are 4 disstart.exe processes wich consume 25% of the cpu each. The pdestate is logons are enabled, but noone can log in as the
logon attempt hangs indefinitely. There is absolutely 0 disk activity during the entire 100% cpu utilization(Which is normal if a huge
spooling is going on). I am not sure what the disstart.exe does, or the software is malfunctioning.. Please
help.
Thanks
Mitra
