Rohit,

Yes, you can revoke various logons and still be able to do a backup. Obviously, the User ID for the backup cannot be one of the User IDs disabled.

The other thing to keep in mind is that even if you revoke logons, any User ID logged on prior to executing the REVOKE command will still be able to perform work. If you want to eliminate that as a possibility, you will need to abort those sessions using something like PMON, Gateway Global, etc. Of course, if one of those sessions is active performing an Update, delete, etc., you could then run the risk of initiating a rollback, which could create more problems.

Nothing is simple, is it?
